Founder of the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre and current Artistic Director.
Joan has sung leading roles with IFOT. Some of her favorite roles include Mimi and Musetta in la Boheme, Giorgetta in Il Tabarro, Carmen in Carmen, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Santuzza in Cavaleria Rusticana, Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutti, Nedda in I Pagliacci, Valenciene and Hanna Glavari in The Merry Widow.
Joan is a member and soloist with Anam Cara Chamber choir and The Eastern Idaho Chorale.
Joan was the featured soloist with The Idaho Falls Symphony in Beethoven 9th Symphony, Carmina Burana, and Poulenc's Gloria. additional performances of Carmina and The Gloria with the Pocatello State Civic Symphony.
Joan is a private voice teacher and vocal coach.
