Mark Kerback - Board Treasurer

Mark has been a member of Anam Cara bass section since 2017 and is currently serving as Treasurer on the Anam Cara Board of Directors. Mark has sung in choirs since his college days at Brown University and Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied trombone, conducting, and music education. He played trombone professionally and taught music – choral and instrumental – at the high school level before entering the business world. He has conducted church choirs including most recently the Menlo Church Choir and has conducted various instrumental ensembles, most recently The Mission Chamber Orchestra. He is a member of the Board of The Idaho Falls Opera Theater and has been a member of the cast of HMS Pinafore, where he played Dick Deadeye, and was part of the ensemble for Amahl & The Night Visitors. He has played rock ‘n roll guitar since his youth and enjoys jamming with the Eastern Idaho Jazz Society.

He currently works as the Controller for Potato Products of Idaho and is married to Vera Kerback. He has 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters and is anxiously awaiting more!
